Where is Lompoc?
Lompoc sits about 155 miles northwest of Los Angeles, making it an easy two-and-a-half-hour drive up the scenic Highway 101. Located in Santa Barbara County, it’s close enough for a quick weekend trip but far enough to feel like a true escape from the city.

As a major hub for satellite launches and space exploration, Vandenberg regularly hosts launches that can be seen from various vantage points around the city.
